My name is Francesca and I was born and raised in Valle d’Aosta<\/strong>, the region that I deeply love.
After completing a Degree in Foreign Languages<\/strong> with a thesis on the tourist promotion of the Fortress of Bard (with a focus on the German-speaking area), I had the privilege of working at the Fortress of Bard as a museum assistant. Here I was dedicated to accompanying visitors and organising educational workshops.
I then qualified as a tourist guide in Italian, French, German and English<\/strong>. My goal? To share my passion for the Aosta Valley with tourists, both Italian and foreign.
For the past ten years, I have been working full-time as a tourist guide in the Aosta Valley<\/strong>, a role that allows me every day to disseminate and enhance the immense artistic and cultural heritage of my region. I firmly believe in continuous updating, which is why I have attended training courses on accessible and inclusive tourism<\/strong>, obtained the title of ONAS tasting technician<\/strong>, and am currently attending an AIS<\/strong> (Italian Sommelier Association) course.
I am also a founding member of the Federazione Guide Turistiche della Valle<\/strong> d’Aosta (Aosta Valley Tourist Guide Federation), the professional association that represents the licensed tourist guides living in our region. My name is also on the National List of Tourist Guides, which can be consulted on the Ministry of Tourism website.<\/p>\n
To make guided tours an even more comfortable and engaging experience, I use radios with earphones<\/strong> (whispers) supplied by me. This allows the best possible enjoyment of the museum sites and spaces, eliminating ambient noise and ensuring constant vocal involvement by the guide.<\/p>\n
