Discover the most common but also the unusual and secret side of the Aosta Valley<\/strong> with a tour<\/strong> guide<\/strong>.
Together we will visit Aosta<\/strong>, also called \u201cRome of the Alps\u201d with its remarkable archaeological remains, the Cathedral<\/strong> and the Collegiate Church of Saint Orso<\/strong>, walking through the MegaMuseum<\/strong>, a unique site in Europe.
We won\u2019t skip the many castles<\/strong> (F\u00e9nis, Issogne, Verr\u00e8s, Savoia… and many others) that stud the valley and the majestic Fortress of Bard<\/strong>, a main exhibition centre in our region.
The Aosta Valley is famous for its landscape and the highest peaks of the Alps such as Mont Blanc<\/strong> and Matterhorn<\/strong>. Together we will visit the famous villages of Gressoney<\/strong>, Cervinia<\/strong>, Cogne<\/strong> and Courmayeur<\/strong> or enjoy quiet times in small alpine villages.<\/p>\n

The Aosta Valley is not only culture, but also traditional craftsmanship, <\/strong>which is displayed in the millenary old Saint Orso fair<\/strong>.
The Aosta Valley also means alpine villages, mountain resorts, <\/strong>places of interest as Skyway Monte Bianco<\/strong> or traditional events as the Christmas Market<\/strong> and colorful carnivals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

My wife and I had a private tour of Aosta<\/strong> with Francesca. The tour covered the ancient, medieval and more modern history of Aosta and brought us to some really beautiful buildings. Thanks to the tour we had a much better insight into the city than we would have had otherwise.
