Visit of Breuil-Cervinia<\/h2>\n

Breuil Cervinia<\/strong>, together with Courmayeur, is the most famous mountain resort of Aosta Valley.<\/p>\n

Located at 2050 meters a. s. l. \u00a0and at the top of Valtournenche, it is a modern Alpine city renowned around the world for to the presence of Matterhorn (called Cervino in italian).<\/p>\n

The Matterhorn<\/strong> was climbed for the first time from the Italian on 17 July 1865 by mountain guide Jean-Antoine Carrel.\u00a0In the same year was born the Cervino Alpine Guides Association<\/strong>.
\nClose to the association headquarter is placed the mountain hut Luigi Amedeo of Savoy, after having served for a long time, it has been re-built in the town center and today it welcomes a museum about the history of alpinism.<\/p>\n

Its fortunate tourist development was promoted by the large cable railway systems. \u201cCervinia ski paradise district\u201d is today a holiday resort of international level and fame, and connects Aosta Valley with Zermatt in Switzerland.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t miss a visit to Lake Blue<\/strong> (Lago Blu), close to village center, where the iconic silhouette of the Matterhorn reflects in the stretch of water!<\/p>\n
