{"id":17015,"date":"2018-05-29T22:29:55","date_gmt":"2018-05-29T20:29:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.guidaturisticaosta.it\/visite\/fiera-sant-orso\/"},"modified":"2026-01-22T15:07:46","modified_gmt":"2026-01-22T14:07:46","slug":"santorso-fair","status":"publish","type":"visite","link":"https:\/\/www.guidaturisticaosta.it\/en\/tours\/santorso-fair\/","title":{"rendered":"Sant&#8217;Orso Fair"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>About the Sant&#8217;Orso Fair<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Sant&#8217;Orso Fair in Aosta<\/strong> takes places every year on 30 and 31 January when artists and craftsmen from the Aosta Valley proudly display their works along the streets of Aosta town centre.<\/p>\n<p>For two days visitors can stroll through the streets of the town center to admire and bought sculptures made in stone or wood, objects made in wrought iron or leather or lace, wicker, household objects, wooden ladders\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, visitors come here not just in search of a bargain, or a useful, everyday object or something to adorn their home, but also to revel in the unique atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>In the Middle Ages, the Sant&#8217;Orso Fair took place in the area surrounding the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guidaturisticaosta.it\/en\/luoghi_visite\/collegiate-of-saint-orso\/\"><strong>Collegiate Church<\/strong><\/a> that bears the name of Sant&#8217;Orso.
